What To Expect
Experience pristine jungle and explore un-spoilt caves whilst being provided with information about the wild life & the surrounding area along the trek. You’ll trek along the original Ho Chi Minh trails. Experience complete darkness in the depths of Tra Ang cave cave. You will swim in one of the most beautiful river caves in Phong Nha. Enjoy kayaking on Tra Ang river while a mouth-watering BBQ lunch will be served by our porters. The trek to Tra Ang valley is super easy and doable for everyone.
Tra Ang Cave Excursion Itinerary
8:30 – 9:00: Pick up from your accommodation to Vietnam Shore Excursions headquarter for safety briefing.
9:30: Leave the Vietnam Shore Excursions Headquarters and drive into Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park.
10:00: Arrive at the entrance to Tra Ang valley and start the trek into the jungle.
10:15: Arrive at Tra Ang valley. Prepare for the exploration of Tra Ang cave.
10:30 – 12:00: Explore Tra Ang river cave.
12:00: Enjoy BBQ lunch.
13:00 – 16:00: Kayak to explore Tra Ang river, relax by the jungle beach with cold drink.
16:00: Start trekking back to the road where our van will pick you up and drive back to Phong Nha.
17:00: Arrive at your accommodation. End the Tra Ang Cave Tour.

We ask for a 60 % deposit on your receipt of our PayPal invoice for this Tra Ang Cave Tour. The rest of the balance you will pay at the end of your tour in cash – $USD or local currency VND at the exchange rate prevailing on the day or pay online in advance by (PayPal/ Credit, Debit Card). Your booking will be instantly confirmed with ticket booking.
Please note: We will charge an extra 3% for bank services if you pay your deposit or the total of payment via PayPal, Credit cards, Debit Card.
Deposit Cancellation Terms:
If customers cancel some or all portions of the booking regardless of the reasons, the customers agree to pay cancellation fees as follows:
- If you cancel the trip 40 days before the arrival, VSE will refund your deposit.
- If you cancel the trip 39 – 30 days before the arrival, you will lose 10% of the full payment.
- If you cancel the trip 29 – 15 days before the arrival, you will lose 30% of the full payment.
- If you cancel the trip 14 – 7 days before the arrival, you will lose 50% of the full payment.
- If you cancel the trip 6 – 2 days before the arrival, you will lose 75% of the full payment.
- If you cancel less than 2 days, you will lose 100% of the full payment.
