My name is David Nguyen, and I am the proud founder of Vietnam Shore Excursions. Born and raised in Hue Imperial City, the former capital of Vietnam from 1802 to 1945, I grew up immersed in the rich history and vibrant culture of Central Vietnam. For over a decade, I have had the privilege of working as an English-speaking tour guide, exploring not just Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An, and the DMZ, but also various other enchanting regions across Vietnam.
My deep love for this verdant country and immense pride in its breathtaking natural beauty, profound Oriental culture blended with traditional customs, and long, storied history are what inspired me to establish Vietnam Shore Excursions. For 12 years, I have worked as an English-speaking tour guide, leading explorations across Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An, the historic DMZ, and numerous other captivating regions throughout Vietnam.
