Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival
Phnom Penh, the first stop for your Indochina tours, once the ‘Pearl of Asia’, Phnom Penh’s shine was tarnished by the impact of war and revolution. But that’s history, and Phnom Penh has risen from the ashes to take its place among the cool capitals of the region. After touching down in Cambodia’s capital, check in at your hotel and relax. Day 2: Killing Field – Flight to Siem Reap (B, L)
After breakfast, we will visit the Killing Field, the peaceful stretch of green fields of Cheung Ek may not indicate what kinds of horrors have taken place there. Situated 17km from Phnom Penh town, Cheung Ek was made famous by the movie “The Killing Fields”. Nowadays, a large memorial has been built to commemorate the 17,000 victims who died here under the reign of Khmer Rouge leader, Pol Pot. Then you will take a short flight to Siem Reap, one of the most exciting Indochina tours, the home of the Temples of Angkor. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 3: Siem Reap Tour (B, L)
After breakfast at your hotel, we will start our first visit to Angkor Complex: Angkor Thom, the fortified city of Angkor Thom covers an area of 10 square km. Enter by the monumental South Gate over a causeway lined on either side by statues of demons and gods, each carrying a giant Naga. We will stop at the famous Bayon temple and continue to the Terrace of the Elephants and the terrace of the Leper Kings, then to Ta Prohm – It has been controversially left to the destructive power of the jungle by French archaeologists to demonstrate the awesome power of nature.
In the afternoon, we will continue to Angkor Wat, the largest and most impressive of all the temples and also the 7th wonders of the world. Then we will enjoy viewing the sunset from Phnom Bakheng. Return to town after the tour and overnight at Siem Reap.
Day 4: Siem Reap – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
After breakfast, we will visit to Banteay Srei is considered to be the jewel of classical Khmer art. This temple is often a favorite with visitors. Visit Banteay Samre. Banteay Samre is a mid-12th century temple dedicated to the god Vishnu.
In the afternoon we will visit Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean and Preah Khan. Pre Rup is a temple-mountain symbolizing Mount Meru, close in style to the East Mebon but higher and artistically superior than its predecessor. Then continue to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon your arrival at Ho Chi Minh airport, pick up and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City and Cu Chi Tunnels Tour (B, L)
On this full-day program, you’ll depart Ho Chi Minh City at 08:00 for a pleasant drive through the countryside to Cu Chi. Before entering the tunnels, you’ll see a short introductory video about their construction. Spend the next hour exploring the tunnel maze. Also on display are various man traps, the remains of an American tank, and numerous bomb craters created by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, your Ho Chi Minh City tour begins with a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office, fine examples of classical French colonial architecture.
See the Reunification Palace, one of the city’s most important buildings. Here on 30 April 1975 the American War officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was at the time the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.
Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, the War Remnants Museum features poignant displays of the futility of war. The courtyard outside contains the spoils of war, namely rusting jets, tanks, and cannons captured from the American military machine.
Visit the bustling Ben Thanh Market, which is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location. It has a wide selection of goods ranging from fake Nike shoes to beautiful silk ao dais, the traditional costume for women. Finally, our tour guide and driver will take you back to your hotel. Day 6: Mekong Delta Tour – Can Tho (B, L)
Pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh and transfer to visit Mekong Delta. You will have a great chance to admire the beautiful landscapes and view along the way to My Tho City. On arrival, we will begin the tour with a boat ride along the river and visit local houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages. Then we will experience a boat ride through a natural canal in Ben Tre, enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea and “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, and have lunch at a local restaurant later.
In the afternoon, you will visit a family business, taste the delicious coconut candy and observe the pastoral life. Finally, our tour guide and driver will transfer you to your hotel in Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 7: Cai Rang Floating Market – Da Nang – Hoi An (B, L)
Pick you up at your hotel in Can Tho and take a boat trip to explore Cai Rang Floating Market. Then come back to your hotel and have breakfast. Next, you will be transferred to visit Orchards Garden with different kinds of fruits. Have lunch at a local restaurant. After that, our tour guide and driver will transfer you to the airport to take a flight to Da Nang. On arrival, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at Da Nang International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: Bay Mau Coconut Forest and Hoi An Walking Tour (B, L)
Pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Bay Mau water coconut forest to take a round boat (coracle) and fishing crab. Then you will take the boat trip on Thu Bon River to Hoi An Ancient Town. Have lunch at Hoi An Ancient Town. In the afternoon, we will visit Hoi An ancient town: Hoi An market, the Fujien Chinese temple, Tan Ky ancient house, the famous Japanese Covered Bridge and great shopping. Day 9: My Son Sanctuary Tour (B, L)
Pick you up at your hotel and transfer to visit My Son Sanctuary. You will have a great chance to admire many beautiful views and landscapes along the way. On arrival, we will explore the complex of the My Son Sanctuary with temples and towers and learn more about the culture of Champa people and their architectural sites.
You will have a chance to enjoy Champa traditional Apsara dancing show performed by dancers and musicians in colorful traditional costumes (if time permits). Day 10: Ba Na Hills and Golden Bridge Tour (B, L)

Day 11: Hoi An to Hue (B, L)

Day 14: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
