Vietnam and Cambodia Tour is a perfect journey for all valued customers to explore all the hidden charms and beauties of Vietnam and Cambodia. Your Indochina travel package will be kicked off in Hanoi. It is a popular airport of entry to Vietnam where a Vietnam visa can be bought on arrival. Hanoi is a fascinating place to explore before heading east to the UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay.
Further south you will see Hue and Hoi An before flying from Da Nang to Siem Reap in Cambodia to see one of Asia’s most photographed attractions, Angkor Wat. After further time in Cambodia in its capital, Phnom Penh, it is south again, this time by boat down the Mekong into Vietnam. After time in the Delta, and at the Cu Chi Tunnels north of Ho Chi Minh City, you can spend the last part of your Indochina holiday on Phu Quoc in the South China Sea before returning to Ho Chi Minh then home.
The Old City and its narrow streets are just part of the experience of touring Hanoi. It’s a great way to start the holiday before heading east through rural areas to Halong where you will cruise in a stunning setting. Hue and Hoi An in Central Vietnam are both cities with a great history, the latter also an ancient trading port. Da Nang is close by and a short flight west to Siem Reap takes you to see the historic Angkor Complex.
Cambodia’s capital is Phnom Penh where the Khmer Rouge committed many atrocities. There is a solemn yet educational aspect to time there before joining a boat to cruise south down the Mekong back into Vietnam and the Delta. Ho Chi Minh City is the commercial centre of Vietnam and reminders of Vietnam’s struggles include a visit to the Vietcong’s Cu Chi Tunnels. There is time to relax, a short flight to the island of Phu Quoc to reflect on all you have seen before returning to the former Saigon to end the holiday.
