Day 1: Hoi An – My Lai Massacre – Mang Den (L)
Pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang city and transfer to the Son My Village to visit and understand more about My Lai Massacre with memorials, houses, moats, … You will have a great opportunity to admire many beautiful landscapes and views along the way to My Lai hamlet, Son My village, Son Tinh District, Quang Ngai Province.
Our first stop of the My Lai Massacre Tour from Hoi An is the local coffee shop. We will have time to take a break or drink some coffee (Coffee with Condensed Milk). You also see Chu Lai’s combat base on Highway 1.
Upon arrival at Quang Ngai province, you will start the My Lai Massacre Tour Hoi An by visiting My Lai Museum to watch a documentary to learn profoundly about the war in this area. You will spend about 2 hours here exploring the complex of Massacre with the highlights such as the House of Evidence where there are a lot of documents, photos, and objects which testify to the massacre. The bloody divisive conflict of the Vietnam War resulted in the deaths of one million Vietnamese civilians, made worse by the involvement of the US military.

Here our tour guide will tell you more about the Battle of Ia Drang valley, the first major battle between the United States Army and the People’s Army of Vietnam, as part of the Pleiku Campaign conducted early in the Vietnam War, at the eastern foot of the Chu Pong Massif in the central highlands of Vietnam, in 1965.
