Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city – My Tho city – Ben Tre – Vinh Long (L, D)
Pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and start the Mekong Delta Tour 3 Days 2 Night with Vietnam Shore Excursions. You will have a great chance to admire the beautiful landscapes and views on the way to My Tho city in the Mekong Delta. On arrival, we will take a boat ride along the river to visit local houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages. Then have lunch in the orchard garden.
In the afternoon, we will have an enjoyable time with a boat ride through a natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea and “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by the islanders. Moreover, we also visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy and observe the pastoral life.
You will be transferred to Vinh Long. When we arrive in An Binh Island, you will be welcomed by your local host and take a ride on bicycle around the village to see these lush orchard gardens and chat with local people (if time permits) or join cooking dinner with the owner. Overnight at homestay in Vinh Long.
Day 2: An Binh Island – Cai Be Floating Market – Can Tho (B, L, D)
Pick you up at your hotel in Vinh Long and start the second day of the Mekong Delta Tour Package 4 Days by taking a short walk to the ferry for boarding the morning boat to Cai Be floating market where there are many boats full of fruits and agricultural products. Then we will get on hand – rowed sampan through the creeks to enjoy the natural beautiful landscapes and the peaceful life of the islanders.
Moreover, we will visit a local orchard to enjoy the tropical fruits and the handicraft villages to know more about local people’s daily activities. Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will have free time for riding on bicycle to the villages and looking around the lush orchard fruits or relaxing on the hammock. After that, we will cruise to Vinh Long for a land market and you will be transferred to Can Tho. Be free and easy on your own. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Long Xuyen – Chau Doc (B, L)
Pick you up at your hotel in Can Tho and start the third day of the Mekong Delta Tour Package 4 Days 3 Nights by taking a leisurely walk to Ninh Kieu wharf. You will have a chance to see a morning street market with many homemade products such as fruits, vegetables, cake… that are sold on the way to the wharf.
After that, we will cruise on the river to the busy Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the biggest floating markets in Southern Vietnam. You will be surprised to explore “the method of the business” in the floating market areas. It is really interesting.
After exploring the floating market, we will visit a local place where you can see how people make rice noodles and the orchard garden. You can wander in the village and try your best to cross the bamboo bridge which is built only by one bamboo tree. Next, we will cruise back to Ninh Kieu wharf. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Day 4: Chau Doc – Sam Mountain – Tra Su Cajuput Forest – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)
Pick you up at your hotel and start the fourth day of the Mekong Delta Tour Package by visiting Sam Mountain, a particular symbol of Chau Doc town. Then you will be transferred to Tra Su Cajuput Forest, which is renowned for not only its almost-untouched natural beauty but also its sanctuary of flora and fauna.
We will take a boat trip into the forest where you immediately feel like you are harmonizing with nature because of all of the impressive pictures of cajuput, the fragrance of the flowers and the music-like noise of birds, insects and animals making people relaxed and comfortable. Deposit Cancellation Terms:
If customers cancel some or all portions of the booking regardless of the reasons, the customers agree to pay cancellation fees as follows:
- If you cancel the trip 40 days before the arrival, VSE will refund your deposit.
- If you cancel the trip 39 – 30 days before the arrival, you will lose 10% of the full payment.
- If you cancel the trip 29 – 15 days before the arrival, you will lose 30% of the full payment.
- If you cancel the trip 14 – 7 days before the arrival, you will lose 50% of the full payment.
- If you cancel the trip 6 – 2 days before the arrival, you will lose 75% of the full payment.
- If you cancel less than 2 days, you will lose 100% of the full payment.
